However, the game does have some interesting parts that kept me going. She shows no emotion or excitement. Plus, whoever does the voice for Nicole Bonnet is a lousy actress.
Its only downfall was that it was too easy. There is only one location you can go at a time, it won't let you leave a location until you have done everything, the puzzles are super easy, and there is not too many locations to explore, and there is a hint button (as if you need it). This game was fun and it had a good plot to it.
I like a challenge; something that will make me have to think for a while, and this game didn't offer that. Overall, it is a fun game, if your prepared to beat it in just a few days with a minimal effort. I'm used to playing games that take me months or several weeks to beat.
This game was really short and straight to the point.
I wasn't able to play the game because it wouldn't run on my computer, even though the exterior of the box said that it would run on Windows Me.
Arbitrary plot, abrasive and unappealing protagonist, awful voice acting, inverted snobbery, illogical puzzles: this game has it all.Definitely one for the charity bin.In fact, I dislike it so much that I need to recover before writing a balanced review.Bleeeeauch.
Second of all the writing is poor. After several hours of joyless gameplay I realized that things weren't getting better and I gave up. "Art of Murder, FBI Confidential" looks like it should be a great adventure game. But the sad fact is all those positive elements can't make up for the many defects in the game. She sounds like an airhead Valley girl but with a total lack of emotion, and is very difficult to listen to. For example, she needs to activate a cellphone whose battery has been destroyed. With all this make work it's easy to lose track of overall story, which itself is not all that compelling.
Nicole Bonnet's voice actress is abysmal. Third, the voice acting is fair overall except where it matters most - the main character.
Your character, Nicole Bonnet, needs to collect numerous items to do even the most mundane task. You'd think the awkward phrases would have been corrected when the game was converted to English, but they weren't.
An attractive, female main character, wonderful graphics, a creepy story line - all the ingredients needed for a successful game. The game is made in Poland and the writers were obviously not familiar with American idioms.
The only reason I give it two stars overall is the graphics, but good graphics are not enough to make this game worthwhile. First of all, the game is tedious.
But even though she has a replacement battery she can't just use the new battery to activate the cellphone - she must find other items to combine with the new battery and they can only be combined at a particular location.
I would recommend it to everyone. I have totally loved this game and how quickly it was received.
